This project in Wood Vale involved a substantial transformation of the lower ground and ground floor levels, creating a spacious, light-filled family living area while significantly improving the flow and functionality of the home.

The works included a lower ground floor extension alongside a ground floor extension, allowing the property to be reconfigured into a split-level lounge, kitchen, diner and TV room. The change in levels was carefully considered to define each space while maintaining a strong sense of connection throughout, resulting in a versatile and welcoming environment for both everyday living and entertaining.

In addition to the extensions, we carried out a full refurbishment of the existing ground floor, integrating the new and original spaces seamlessly. Attention was given to layout, detailing and finishes to ensure the completed areas felt cohesive and balanced.

Externally, the extension was finished with larch sunshade cladding, adding warmth and texture to the façade while providing a contemporary contrast to the existing structure. This not only enhanced the appearance of the property but also improved shading and solar control.

The completed project delivers a modern, practical living space that responds to the homeowners’ needs while enhancing both the internal experience and the external character of the property.
